Jo (Ann Dvorak, Scarface, 1932) finds herself stuck employed at the infamous Club 46, working as a dancehall girl and rolling unsuspecting customers for their money with the help of piano player Eddie Morgan (Douglas Fowley, Singinâ in the Rain). When sailor Dan Walters (Preston Foster, The Informer) comes to the club, he falls for Jo, even though she tries to take his wallet. Dan attempts to get Jo out of the club to marry her, but Eddie has other plans, and only one of them is going to get what they want.
