Former child superstars Jackie Cooper and Jackie Coogan make the grade in this rollicking campus comedy from director Phil Karlson (The Silencers). Fresh out of the service, Johnny Kilroy (Cooper) plans to attend Benson College but is denied admission when itâs discovered heâs half a credit short. So when his pal Pappy (Coogan) spreads word that Johnny is the famed âKilroy was hereâ hero himself, the publicity gets him into Benson and the schoolâs most pompous frat. But when the brothers discover heâs not the mythic Kilroy after all, a plot is hatched to kick him out of the house and Benson College as well.
